Street Signs are a Reflection of the Neighborhood

When making your way through the neighborhood have you noticed signs with names of streets that are faded and difficult to read? Have you encountered a neighborhood watch sign covered in graffiti? Is there a speed limit sign with powder coating that is starting to chalk and degrade? How about a Stop Sign leaning to one side? Or a sign that used to be there but now is missing? The quality of a street sign is a reflection of the quality of the neighborhood. If a street sign in our neighborhood needs attention, we want to know about it. Welcome to Tahquitz River Estates Neighborhood, Truly The most diverse in all of Palm Springs!

The neighborhood sits on both sides of the Tahquitz "wash" just south of central Palm Springs. It was not always called Tahquitz River Estates. In the early 1930's, the first development was called Palos Verdes Estates and is still populated with charming "Old Palm Springs" Spanish revival homes. Some of these bungalows were under construction even before Palm Springs became incorporated back in 1938!
